The people of Leyte, Philippines believe that the Petal fairies (the Water fairy, Air fairy and the light Fairy) sway their magic petals to make to make sure that flowers grow and bloom, and along with the Holy child, St. Niño they help to keep the balance of nature and the floral beauty all around.
Through dances and songs, dressed in colourful flower costumes, the people of Hilongos in Leyte give thanks, celebrate their blessings, and hope for a bountiful year ahead.
